Murray is the quintessential under-ager. When Gabe Garibaldi snuck Murray and his best friend Cal through the back door of Club Touch, Murray was a changed man. The next day he dumped his girlfriend and devoted his under-age life to getting back into the clubs.

Murray is enamored by the club life. He sees Gabe as the epitome of cool. Through his own obsessive schemes and pure luck, he finds himself joining the original three (Gabe, DelDuca and Vinni V) so often that he slowly becomes part of the group. Like Gabe, he has an obsessive personality, which reaches back to his true love – Gabe’s little cousin. The two go to school together at St. Francis of Assisi, Gabe’s old high school. Gabe's cousin, a club girl in the making, is perhaps the pure inspiration for Murray's obsession with the world.
