DJ Vinni V was born Vinay Vishnavi in Mumbai. His family moved to Montreal when he was four years old. In high school he was considered a “techie”, spending most of his free time in the audio-visual area of the school. His secret, however, was his passion for electronic music. He began to mix his own original tracks and sample music from all over the world. During his last year of high school his secret went public when a bootleg ACDC remix he created leaked onto the internet. Gabe Garibaldi found the mix and forced Vinay into the limelight, rechristening him DJ Vinni V. At the high school dance “Winter Rush” DJ Vinni V made his musical debut. From that point forward he became a celebrity.

His first DJ contract was with Gabe’s Uncle Enzo. He worked his way up the club scene while barely passing college classes until he became the house DJ at Club Touch. He’s the most well rounded of the original three and the only one with college degree. Vinni’s Indian heritage is often the butt of DelDuca's jokes, which often creates tension between the two. In spite of this, Vinni often wears Italian jackets and hats, and supports the Italian soccer team, possibly as an effort to appease such a large demographic of his fans.
